I want to apply for China visa for business purpose but as I am very busy with my work I can not go to Chinese Embassy my self, can I entrust someone to go to embassy in my behalf and apply for the visa? should I sign some papers to entrust that person.
Yes, you can entrust someone if you are too busy to go to embassy yourself. It is not required to do any papers for entrusting.
I have already got my Chinese visa lat month but it is near to expiry date now. Can I extend my visa instead of applying for new one I have copy of all the documents I have used for getting my last visa?
You can only extend your visa after arriving at China not in US, if your visa is expired you can get another one.
I am visiting China for a job interview, it seems my chance is quite high, I all ready got my visit visa to China. If I got my job offer finalized can I change my visa type? should I exit from China in order to get my visa work visa stamped?
If you get your job and want to change your visa type to work visa you should exit from China and apply in your home country, this is a regulation.
I am applying to China visa soon, I need an one year multiple entry visa as I need to go to China several times in a year due to recent business contract, But I have not visited China before, is it possible to get multi-entry visa on first time? many resources say one should have to visit several times before he/she apply for multiple entry visa. Please tell me, thanks.
Assuming you are holding US passport, Yes, you should have record of several visit on your passport in order to get multiple entry visa. But that is a general rule, if you have original contract and other documents as well as invitation from China stating the reason fro multiple visit to China you should have no trouble of getting multiple visa, the power lies at the hand of visa officer , try to convince him that you have genuine reason for applying such visa.
I am holding a USA passport, I will travel with my wife to China from Hong Kong in Mid July. Do I need visa for China, is it possible o get on arrival or from Hong Kong? Thanks.
It is always better to apply for China visa in your home country, you can apply for Chinese visa in Hong Kong , but it might take some time and affect your trip arrangements in Hong Kong as you might waste our time standing in the queue in front of the embassy instead of enjoying your time with your wife. You have plenty of time to get things organized in US , better get it done before coming to China.

Hi, I am a naturalized U.S citizen and would like to teach in China. I would like to go there to explore the location and school that I desire instead applying online. I live near Boston,MA…How can I get a visa?
Wrong Last Name on Visa
My US passport was amended after I got married in 2003. In 2008 I applied for a China Visa and the name on the visa match the changed name on the passport. I applied for a visa last week. When I received it back I noticed the visa had the my former lastname, not the new name on the visa. The passport number and date of birth match. The name on the visa matches the original name on my passport. On application I stated my new last name and not former. DO I need to correct?
China visa for French citizen
Hi, I am a French citizen, legal Permanent Resident in North Carolina USA. I would like to apply for a China tourist visa (one entry). Do I have to go in person to a Chinese Consulate to apply and have an interview ? A visa agency said an interview is now required for French citizens.
Thank you in advance
I am from ~5 hrs outside of the D.C. area, and seeking a Visa for a trip to China in May. If I go to the Chinese consulate in D.C. and drop off my forms, can they mail me my Visa or will I need to go back to pick it up in person?
Additionally, if I am going to be unemployed at the time of the trip is that a problem? I have seen on the Visa application forms that they ask for employers info or educational institution info.
Thank you!
