You have to both for China visa and Hong Kong visa in Chinese embassy in Beirut. The actual requirements are depend on the visa type you desired to get and duration of stay.

It is easy to get a transit visa for you , but if you want to stay longer than you might need to get your trip organized first via a travel agent in China and they will provide visa support letter for you.
