  2. chinese embassy philippines

hi, I want to ask what are the requirements on how to get visa in china. my husband is working in Shenzhen china and we would like to visit him together with my daughter.

    • It is not difficult to get visa in your case as your husband has the work visa in Shenzhen, China. All you have to provide is attested copy of marriage certificate, copy of your husband’s passport including the page of work visa. Unfortunately we provide china visa information only not visa service and in your case it is very easy.

  5. China Visa in Manila for Indian passport

I am holding Indian passport currently visiting Manila on a Business Visa for 2 months. I would like to know being an Indian, can I apply for China Visa in Manila. If yes, what documents would be required?

    • It will be quite difficult for you to get China visa in Manila, you can have only apply in Chinese embassy in Manila if you have residence visa of Philippines. But you can try our luck.

  6. Me and my wife are I am planning to visit Shanghai with my wife in coming September. I am currently in Dubai and I have Dubai residence visa. We would like to know the requirements needed and how long it would take to process the visas?

    • You need to provide trade licence of the company who sponsored your residence visa , also need to provide no objection letter from that company for your trip to China, plus confirmed air-ticket booking. Of cause you will have to take original passport and one passport size photograph.

  7. chinese embassy philippines

Im a Filipina, my Chinese citizen fiance wants to marry me here in Philippines. May I ask for some help about his requirements needed here.

    Thank u.

  8. ask q lang po kung pano po ipapaattest ung passport at visa ng sister q na nasa china….ano po requirements at mgkano po magagastos…tnx

  9. Hi, I’m a USA passport holder…so my question is, is it possible to get a Chinese tourist (L) visa in Manila (a 6 month multiple entry if possible) or does that require to hold residency in the Philippines? I was hoping to traveling around Manila for a week and obtain a new chinese visa in the process.

    • Basically you have to apply in Chinese embassy in USA , but if you want to apply in Manila you must have for residency in the Philippines, although you can get single entry tourist visa or transit visa there is a chance for getting rejected, 6 month multi entry will be very hard for you to get instead try to apply 6 month double entry visa, you must show an air-ticket/itinerary which states you will first arrive at China then visit Hong Kong and at the end you have to return to China to catch your flight.

  10. visa change in china

I got a work from a company in Shanghai, I need to go there as soon as possible but at this time my papers are not ready for work visa. Can I go there start my job until my papers ready, if yes do I need to exit from China when I need to change my visa type? Thank.

    • Normally you can not work with visit visa, but the related law and regulations are not very strongly enforced so you might able to work until your papers get ready. When it is ready you have to return to your home country for apply for a work visa.

  11. I am with a Philippine passport and the expiration date of my passport is less than 6 months. Actually it’s 5 months.
I just need to go to Shanghai for a period of 7 days to meet my boy friend there. Is it possible to get a short term visa?

    • Usually you must have 6 month validity time in your passport, but in your case I would suggest you to prepare all possible documents which can prove that you will stay for very short period in China such as confirmed return air-ticket, hotel booking and bank statement.

    • It is not so hard to get visa for Philippines, although harder than for a French passport. You can provide the hotel, air-ticket booking and travel itinerary in china and should have no problem getting visa for your son.

  16. Chinese Consulate Cebu

Hi my son went to your office in Cebu but they told him that they don’t give any visa for those who are holding Philippine Green passport. It has to be Philippine Marron passport. Is it true? And he tried to apply for the new passport and they told him need 2 to 3 months processing. So, please tell me what to do? I want him to be with us on this trip. I hope you will understand my situation.

    • Green passport should be accepted in principle , but visa officer has the authority to reject and ask for additional document if he/she wants, you may try to provide copy of your visas and show the proof of relationship thus he should know he is not going along and supported by parents.

      • Thank you for your reply. As they said this is the new rule in Chinese Embassy in the Manila, Philippines. They said the green passport is not valid anymore. Please help me……

  20. China Visa in Manila for Indian passport

    Hello

I am in the manila, philippines since last two years on a work Visa. My wife is a housewife and I am an Indian National. Now, to apply for a China Visa, I was told ( and read at a few places ) that Indians need to show a bank certificate with a minimum balance of 1.5 Lacs ( 150,000 ) rupees which is the same as 150,000 pesos. First, Is this true and second, Does this needs to be shown in the local currency ( Pesos in this case ) or the rupees ( My home currency in the bank accounts in India ) ? or either will suffice. Apart from this, I have my work visa copy, Marriage certificate, No objection from the employer , confirmed hotel reservation and return flight tickets. Your answer is much appreciated.

  27. Work Visa

I’m a high school graduate but already employed here in the Philippines and the company where I am working has a sister company in China and I was about to be deployed/re-assigned to China for 1 year. Already have my employment contract and medical done. The company will shoulder all expenses and board and lodging while I’m there. My question is, does China allow a high school graduate to be re-assigned or be deployed for work? Even if its a company to company basis? Do I have the chance to travel for work?

  34. China visa for full time student in the Philippines

hi, I am a current College Student in MLA. I want to spend my New Years in China for 4 days only as a tourist.
My concern is that, if I apply for a tourist visa—is there any chance that i get denied if i didnt show ONLY the bank statement or affidavit of support? cos i can only provide proof of enrollment, birth certificate, passport, valid school ID, etc.. oh and a 1yr lease contract of where I am residing..

  35. Wrong Spelling in BC

My birth certificate bears a one-letter typographical error on my first name in which the DFA followed the same spelling for my Philippine passport. However, all my other valid documents (baptismal, NSO-issued marriage certificate, SSS, and other valid IDs) carry the first name with the correct spelling. Would attaching a duly notarized “Affidavit of One and the same person” document, along with the other required documents for my application of a Chinese visa, suffice? Our company sponsored a 3-day tour to Beijing on the last weekend of September and would like to know my chances and options, if any. Please advise. Thanks very much.

I would like to inquire on the normal Z Visa processing time? I’ve been told its usually around 4 working days. I submitted my requirements last week (6 Oct) and was told to wait for a call from the embassy to advise when I can pickup my Visa. However, after a week still no call. I applied for Z Visa 6 months ago and it only took 3-4 days.

    • Response to Ryan with the Z-visa

Hello Ryan! Just wondering whether you already got your Z-visa? I am on the same boat as you…I applied for my visa last week and chatted with some other people applying for Z visa as well. They got a call on the same day, but I haven’t got mine yet. I am wondering why mine is taking longer than other applications. Just hoping this is not a sign that my application will be denied!

My question is, is the additional requirements such as having an invitation letter with a copy of the inviter’s valid Chinese residence visa and passport information page of inviter’s or Chinese national identity card from a Chinese resident strictly required? What if we don’t have any? and we just really want to go there as an office outing/trip?
