No, there should be at least 5 people to form a group. Individual tourism visa to china is not issued for Sri Lankan nationalities.
why??so if u decide to visit china..u shud find 4 more people to do so?what kind of a rule is that?
Yes, it sounds unfair but that is the current policy. One possible reason might be that China and Sri Lanka did not come to an agreement over tourist visa.

I’m a sri lankan citizen and my husband is doing PHD in china,wuhan province,duration is minimum 3 yrs and he’s having resident visa.chinese embassy says they will give L type visa for me for 6 months with a possible of extension.
The problem is by the same time he’s planning to go czech republic for 1yr duration for a training programme which is approved by chinese professor,but czech embassy refuse to give visa to me,they are asking atleast 1yr visa for me.Is possible to get a visa for a 1yr period?
