Currently I am in China now visiting my parents and I am going to Bangkok for travalling. My passport is German. Since I only have now a visa for China only for 30 days and 1-entry (already used) can I get a new tourism visa at the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok and this possibly after one day? If this is possible, do I need special invitations and other documents?

Yes, you can apply China visa even one day after you left China, for tourism visa you need to show proof of hotel reservation , confirmed return or onward air-ticket, and a confirmed travel itinerary issued from a travel agency in China.

But I am not travelling to china with an agency. I am just visiting my relatives and my parents in china. So I do not have any hotel reservation or a confirmed travel itinerary issued from a travel agency in china.

In that case you can still try to apply in Bangkok, to ensure that you will get a visa you have to either show them your connection with your family in China or just apply for a transit visa showing a return or onward air-ticket.
If you apply tourist visa there is a chance that you might get rejected. The basic rule is you must apply china visa thought the Chinese embassy in your home country, you might get a Chinese visa in third country but the visa officer can refuse to give visa for untold reason.

I am a Swedish citizen living in Thailand. Now I am going to Sweden via Beijing and would like to take a short sightseeing trip into the city from the airport while waiting (about seven hours). Can I send the application and passport and e-ticket to the embassy in Bangkok? How do I pay the fee (and how much?) and how long time would it take?

I will be applying for a business visa to China at the consulate in Bangkok. I have a passport from south africa. I only have four days to get the visa before my flight to china.

If I apply on Monday morning first thing, will that be enough time?

i am a Ghanaian and applied for school in china whiles i was in Ghana. i had the chance to go to china for one month and on my return to Ghana i have decided to transit through Thailand for a maximum of 30 days but fortunately and unfortunately for me my admission letter is ready but i have almost exhausted my stay at china and now moving to Thailand. i want to find out if there is a way i can apply for my student visa through your embassy and then go back to china for my studies instead of going all the way to Africa Ghana and what are the requirements to obtain my student visa through your embassy. Thank You
