   I am currently traveling in Vietnam, planing to fly to Japan via Beijing, can I have a short visit of 2-3 days with transit visa? How can I get it?

   We are currently traveling in Asia and we need get the china visa for stay some days in Shanghai. We will be in Ho chi minh the 14 July and we should go in China for the end of July.We are from Germany. Please tell to us how we can get the Visa,what we need to do for apply and if is possible get it in ho chi minh.Thank you.

     It is easier to get china visa from Netherlands for you, but you are already in Hanoi, you can also get a visa from there, if you have residence of Vietnam it will easier otherwise it depends on the judgment of visa officer. Many people get visa in countries other then their home country but few of them may also get rejected.

   Dir Sirs,

   I buy a ticket from Hochiminh City to Ulan Bator by Air China, my flight is :
   18 Aug at 8.05am HCMC – Beijing
   19 Aug at 8.15am Beijing – Ulan Bator
   04 Sep at 11.05 from Ulan Bator to Beijing and 16.00pm from Beijing to HCMC.
   So, do I need to apply a visa to China.

     No, you do not need a Chinese visa as you are not staying more than 24 hours, but you can not leave from airport.

   We are travelling to Vietnam on 30th of September, coming back to China on 6th of October 2011. One of our friends just realized he has no valid VISA to enter China again. Can he get one during our stay in Vietnam?

   Visa to Hong Kong in Vietnam

   Dear Sir/Madam,

   I’m Thang from CFA Vietnam. I’d like to ask your advice on Hongkong visa for my situation. We’re going to send a unversity team(including 4 students & 1 lecturer) to HongKong for competing regional round of CFA Institute Research Challenge, we also receive a visa letter from CFAI located at HongKong for travel. How we get visa for the team? and may we have group visa for them? Your help is much appreciated.

   Transit visa

   I will arrive by ferry from Japan in Qingdao and want to travel within 5 days to Hanoi.

   At the moment of applying for a visa in HCMC I will not have the ticket of the ferry (I will buy it in Japan), will not have a visa for Japan (as I don’t need it as Swiss citizen) and don’t have the train ticket to go back to Hanoi yet (as I can’t buy it yet).

   My questions:

   1. can I get a Transit visa?
   2. can I get an ordinary visa?
   3. what do the visa cost?
   4. how long does it take?

    3 month chinese visa from HCMC

    hello, i am an australian citizen travelling through SE Asia. Will I be able to get a Chinese Visa for 2-3 months in HCMC? Also will i be able to enter China from a different country like Laos if i get the visa in Vietnam?

    Gaining Visa whilst travelling

    Hello,
    I am a UK citizen going backpacking to Thailand and then travelling overland to Cambodia, Vietnam and then planning on getting a bus from Hanoi to Nanning in China. I am leaving on April 2nd 2012 and will be going to china 27th June, therefore I cannot gain a visa before I leave the UK as it will have expired.
    Can you please advise on if it is going to be possible to gain a visa for China in any of the countries I am going to and what documents I would need.

    I am from the UK but living (I have a 1 year Vietnam visa) and working (I have 1 year left on my work permit) in Saigon.

    I plan to enter China on 23rd April and stay for 6 weeks. Is it possible to get a visa for longer than 30 days and do I need confirmation of flights and hotels?

    Visa Cost

    Hi

    Im a US citizen in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Can I get a 6 month or 1 year multi entry visa here at the same cost as in Los Angeles? I have had many visa to China in the past.
