You try to get visa notice on time, that is the only way to get visa for Sri Lankan Nationality. If the inviter in China acts quickly you should able to get your visa on time. There is no agreement between your country and China for tourist visa.

Yes, that is the way to save time. Normally Chinese embassy does not accept fax or scanned copy of the invitation letter, but you can request them to issue visa on that base providing other documents such as company invitation letter, proof of joining the training. We have seen people getting visa on the basis of fax or printed copy of the invitation letter, you can get it if you can convince visa officer.

Yes, you can apply from Hong Kong and fortunately there are some visa agents in Hong Kong who can help you. But it is always easier to get it in their home country.

For Z visa you have to wait for some time, all your documents has to be verified from China and communication sometimes proved to be slow. If you have provided all the documents and all the requirements are fulfilled you might able to get it early next week.

First of all you should have the residence of Thailand in order to get visa in Thailand, secondly for getting tourist visa for China as Iranian citizen you should apply as a form of group of 5 people.

Well, it will make getting visa easier with proof of Chinese origin, especially for apply for family visit visa. In his case I think it is easier to apply for tourist visa without making things more complicated.

My mom wants to go to China to visit her nephews and children. She was born in China , but is a Canadian citizen now. She has gone back 2 times, the last time on July the 2nd 2006. She applied and got a visa on June the 6th 2006, I know the exact date because we travelled together on a tour to China.
She intends to travel with my brother around September the 24th to go to Meixian to visit families. The travel agency asked for a copy of her last visa issued to her, it was in her previous passport and she has misplaced it.

hi i will get a new australian passport on friday. i have taught english before in china on work visas “z” and now my visa is an “L” family visa. i have just been asked by a school to teach for them with a one year contract. the local police in this city say i need to go to hong kong with an invitation letter from the school.
